My relation and history to Molokai begins before my conception, when my ancestors settled on the island. Although I left in 1985, having moved away, learning to adapt and assimilating into a new environment has made me appreciate Molokai's unique lifestyle. My perspective on things is a result of my upbringing, being raised on the island and the people who shaped my life.
